Beloved Series
May 10, 2018 marks the 132nd Birth anniversary of Brother Felix Manalo who was instrumental in the emergence of the Iglesia Ni Cristo or Church of Christ in the Philippines. After almost 50 years of service, he was laid to rest. The mantle of leadership was then given to his son, Brother Eraño Manalo who valiantly and victoriously led the Church to almost another 50 years. Then , just like his father, after almost 50 years, he too, was laid to rest. The two men carried out their duties nobly in their respective eras. In my humble opinion, those were the age of heroes of our time. They went through the unimaginable hardships, persecutions, communist insurgence and 2 world wars. The Messenger had NOTHING to begin with but with God’s help, victoriously led the church until 1963. During Brother
Eraño’s time, it was a different era but nonetheless, he carried on gallantly and led the church to immense growth across the oceans and onto other nations.
Sad to say, the new “leader”, the Beloved one, is more concerned with his image and his ego than the welfare of the Church. I’m sure some readers who believe otherwise will defend him and say that I am just a bitter ex-member who want to attack the Beloved leader. On the contrary, I am very much registered in the Church and I am not bitter at all. Sad mostly how he has badly handled the mantle of leadership. Why do I say this? Let’s begin…
In the 9 years the Beloved EVM has held the role of leader, the Church has been under all kinds of problems. There was the disastrous Centennial celebration that people still look back on with bitterness. It was THE CENTENNIAL!! 100 years in the making!! How could it not have been planned properly?!
Right after the Centennial, there were deaths of evangelical workers that were buried in the news, lied about to the insurance companies and even family members were left shaking their heads in disbelief.
This was followed by the shocking expulsion of the Beloved’s mother and siblings, nieces and nephews. Not only was it enough to expel them, they had to announce it during the 101’s ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION. That sure leaves a lousy taste in one’s mouth doesn’t it?
From then, things just went from bad to worse; a continuous stream of expelled families; more deaths; embarrassing attempts at breaking World Records; sales of Messenger merchandise, selling of tickets by ministers and officers to the Philippine Arena events like they were ticket scalpers; pop songs and rap performances while choir members in their robes sway and prance along behind them; now all kinds of business ventures in eco-farming, olive trees, K-p
op shows and the more recent petting zoo named “The Garden”. What’s next? EVM-land Theme Park with roller coaster rides in the ghost towns we have purchased? Oh I may have just given the more ideas. Gasp!
Is this what Brother Felix and Brother Eraño tirelessly laboured for? So that the Church members can break world records? To give their hard earned money as offering only to be used to buy bags of cabbage and the rest would be for SUVs and free trip to Israel for Ministers and their families?
The Messenger and the old Ministers would probably turn in their graves if they knew that all their sacrifices were to end up this way. The old school Ministers just walked and took public transportation. New generation? Annoyed if they don’t get seafood for lunch or someone shakes their hands after worship service and no “green note” was slipped into their palms.
Tell me, how many Ministers in California have NOT been to Disney for free? How many have have NOT tasted steak and lobster for free? How many Top Ministers have NOT been to America? No doctrinal changes? Ok. But tell me, during Brother Eraño’s time, how many among the “Top” ministers or the council of elders travelled to America? I think only one. Brother Teofilo C. Ramos. Nowadays it’s like tag team wrestling. One goes in, the other goes out. (I hope one of my readers is the visitor of the Grand Canyon / Las Vegas trip).
9 years into his Administration, the Beloved one has expelled more and more families because they were “not One” with him. This includes ministers, district officers, locale leaderships and lay members. The latest in this fiasco are the expulsions of Minister Brother Joji Pineda, son of the late Vivencio Pineda.
And even Brother Jesse Macaspac, an 80 plus year old retired Minister who was one of the pioneers of the Church in the West. (see article and video: https://incsilentnomore.com/2018/05/10/bro-jesse-macaspac-inc-veteran-minister-silent-no-more/) Did Our Beloved Leader even show respect to this old man who was blazing the trail in the West while the Beloved One was still in his school uniform? Did he at least show some courtesy to the pioneer by speaking to him? Or did he email him his signed expulsion papers?
The Beloved’s Administration is becoming more and more of an embarrassment. Members and non members alike are asking what is going on with the leadership. They are more concerned with their public image, world records and photo ops than care for the flock.
Just look at how many cameras are pointed at him during the video playbacks. I mean, honestly, how many angles do you need?
When will the Beloved stop pressing the brethren into giving more and more offerings? When will the nonsensical activities stop being pushed down our throats? And if we didn’t participate we would be threatened with expulsion and be cursed into eternal damnation? Are these our heroes of today?
Would the Messenger have allowed such things to happen for 9 years?

But to be honest for most people in this world …… who really cares!
Just let them enjoy their so called (parade of) victories, achievements and success as long as they keep out of trouble and obey the church administration without question (so that they can receive salvation on the day of judgment) that is all that matters to them.
As an ex INC and Catholic. My final conclusion about religion = yep very messed up indeed. They claim to obey and follow God but to be honest they really only fake it because they want power within themselves and will do things against the bible as long as you are with them no worries. And then once you criticize them, the hatred that follows is immense. Also with religion you need to donate to it so they can continue to grow, etc but with money comes temptations and it takes a strong leader to lead the way. If the Philippine Arena and Sports Stadium were not built, that money spent on those venues could have easily gone towards dedicating many more houses of worship around the world.
Let’s go back 60 years into the past. I believe that there was no such thing as last messenger when Felix Manalo led the Iglesia Ni Cristo during a time when it was a much smaller organization long before the central temple and central office (administration office) were built. I think Felix only wanted to teach the words of God as written in the bible. He only got known as the last messanger (as a memory) during the days when bro Erano G Manalo was the executive minister ….. but then EVM followed and in this social media dominated world = boom! But he is not the only one out there.
I remember once a couple of years ago during a closing prayer the minister uttered “let’s pray for our beloved executive minister bro Eduardo V. Manalo, he can do no wrong!” and I said to the minister you know what …. nobody in this world is perfect, not me, not you, absolutely nobody. We all make mistakes. Even EVM mentioned this in a Webex in September 2015, even I make mistakes…… how can he do no wrong!

A number of locales are renting and that even includes other churches (and some brethren feel creepy when seeing a crucifix) and Scottish Rite Halls (which belong to the Freemasons). The landlord for the Longbeach pastoral house is a brother and he was told to keep quiet; just maybe he should let the bank foreclose on it or sell it. Officers are being asked to pledge large donations for chapel renovation.
Ministers have to forfeit their tax refunds.

Regarding Bro. Jesse Macaspac, someone passed to me a letter written in Tagalog by a minister who has personal knowledge about Bro. Macaspac since bother were together at one time in Hawaii. Here’s the minister’s reply in Tagalog:
Sa mga lapastangan at sa mga lumalaban sa Pamamahala,
Palagay nyo ba ay kayo ang tama at ang Pamamahala ang mali? Parang yong nakasulat sa Ezek. 18:25, para nyo na ring sinabi na ang daan ng Panginoon ay hindi matuwid!
Nakasama ko si Mr Jess Macaspac diyan sa Hawaii taong 2008-2011, 2013. Noong nasa karapatan siya, hanga ako sa kaniya. pero ngayon at lumalaban siya at nagsasalita siya ng laban sa Pamamahala napatunayan niya na siya ang taong walang kakwenta kwenta.
Bakit siya magkakaroon ng sama ng loob sa Pamamahala kung ang anak niyang si Randy ay sinuspindi ng Pamamahala? Bakit siya magkakaroon ng sama ng loob sa Pamamahala kung di pinayagan si Randy na tumuloy sa pabahay ng Iglesia ng si Randy ay suspindido na!
Pinauuwi o pinababalik sa Pilipinas si Randy ayaw nkiyang bumalik! Ano siya , mas magaling pa siya sa Pamamahala! Hindi kailangan ng Pamamahala ang katulad niyang matigas ang ulo!
Nagrequest sila na tumira sa pabahay ng Iglesia para daw mabantayan si Mr Jess na noon ay nasa pabahay ng Iglesia! Ano ka ? Sira ka talaga, suspindido ka, wala ka sa karapatan, ang lakas naman ng loob mong humingi ng pabor sa Pamamahala eh samantalang ayaw mong sumunod sa simpleng utos na umuwi ka sa Pinas at doon ka idedestino!!!!
Ikaw naman matangdang Jess, nasan ang paggalang mo sa Pamamahala! Tumanda ka ng paurong! Naalala ko ang sabi ng Ka Erdy: pinakain ka sa palad ng Pamamahala, pero anong ginawa mo? Taksil, nagtaksil ka, lumaban ka, Ganyan ba ang isusukli mo sa kabutihan ng Pamamahala? Di mo ba natatandaan na nakapag abroad ka dahil sa tiwala ng Pamamahala!

Pero sa ginawa mong pagsasalita ng laban sa Pamamahala, sinayang mo ang lahat ng magagandang bagay na ginawa mo noong una;

Mr Jess ikaw ang nagsabi noon na debatista ka…. tinalo ka ng sama ng loob mo. Katulad ka lang din ng mga di pinagbigyan ng Pamamahala sa kanilang mga kapritso, sa sama ng loob, nag rebelde at lumaban! Parang diablo lang, nang di makuha ang gusto, nag-alsa balutan….. kawawang nilalang…

Just watched J$ in eagle news talking about d their walk for life to FIGHT POVERTY.Panay pagyayabang sa mga “natulungan ng Lingap,sa Pinas man o sa ibang bansa na PINAKAKADIIN-DIIN na kaya nila sinimulan ang Eco-Farming para ‘daw” makatulong at isang paraan para Labanan ang KAHIRAPAN!! Hinihikayat pa ang ilang grupo o samahan na makiisa sa “Kanila” na LABANAN ang KAHIRAPAN sa buong mundo,wow,ang bigat talaga,akala mo TUNAY NA SILA(OWE) ang MAKALULUNAS sa KAHIRAPAN,sa BUONG MUNDO pa raw!! Nais ko lang IBAHAGI pa ang ilang panulat ni Dr. JOSE RIZAL sa mga Dalaga sa taga Malolos sa pahina 18. I have seen a deaconess with a seepstakes ticket, because of “express doktrina” ; I have seen a married TNT her husband is in the philippines alive and kicking, and she married an INC member to get a greencard in californayey, a judge officiated their wedding and she is so very faithful to the doctrine as of today! I thought the good shepherd look tirelessly for one lost sheep, all these expulsion is really disturbing! Always looking for souls to save and sending away those who can question their wrong path. Hindi ito ang aking bayan ako’y naglalakbay lamang, sa bayan kong paroroonan doo’y walang kalungkutan. ; malaking gastos ang arena na maiiwan lang!
