Trump abolish Johnson Amendment

Let’s start with politics. This should make EVM smile. This week U.S. President Trump announced that he will eliminate the Johnson Amendment which prevents religious organisations from meddling in politics. If you recall, 2016 was a banner year for the INC (see article: Elections – Part 2) when INC Administration pushed for unity to the point of frightening even the little children of doom and judgment if one did not unite in voting, in the Philippines, that is. But in America the Administration was silent as a church mouse when it came to the elections. So how can that doctrine be so emphasized in one country and then totally mum in another? The fear of losing tax exemption, that’s why.

Brother Angel

As we can see brother Angel was transported by the police. Despite the treatment he receives he remains quiet. He, unlike the sibling, does not bash his own brother nor speak any ill will against anyone. Meanwhile the followers of the older brother are like squealing with glee at the suffering of another person.

Baptism in the time of EVM’s administration

Hong Kong had a “baptism”  which was posted online. I use baptism in the loosest sense because it was in a toy kiddie pool. What’s wrong with that, the apologists would argue. Nothing, if it had been done like what the Bible says:

“We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life”. Roman 6:4

Was it done like a burial?  Who gets buried sitting and then ducking down?

That’s why  Acts 8:38 says,

And he gave orders to stop the chariot. Then both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water and Philip baptized him.

The one to be baptised and the one baptising both go into the water. It is a burial. I didn’t know the minister can just put his ankles in and that would count as both going into the water. That’s like the priest saying “yes, when I christened, my hands were in the water too” 😊

I’m sure some will defend this picture and say nothing is wrong with it. Ok, then here is the challenge, put it in the Pasugo or INCMEDIA.ORG for all to see. Publish it, cute design and all.

Then this person who keeps trolling my posts has the nerve to write:

Really? The question is would you allow your child to be baptised in a drum? The answer – you would still obey EVM if he said so?? Would that still be scriptural? That’s exactly the point many are saying. Even to the point of breaking God’s laws you would still obey. That kind of mentality, my friends, is what we have to be aware of, and exactly why we have to continue to refuse to change God’s laws even to the point of being persecuted.

Ahh but that’s another week of life under the EVM administration.
