I am not into politics but the events in America in the last few months have made me more interested in watching the news regarding the president of the United States, Donald J Trump. Millions of Americans are angry about President Trump’s plans to build a wall; how he reacts to criticism, attacking those he feels are against him. And how he wields his power to ban the media when he feels like it. That’s NOTHING.
The current Executive Minister of the Iglesia Ni Cristo, Eduardo V. Manalo (or EVM) is much more vicious and brutal; He excommunicates those who dare speak up;
Mr. Trump wants to build a 30 foot wall between the U.S. and Mexico? EVM already built one a taller one between him and his mother and siblings long before they were even expelled.
Don’t even let me get started on the “Alternative Facts” coined by Trump’s adviser Kelly Anne Conway. You want to talk about “Alternative Facts”? There are the loans, the Airbus, Scenic SD, Maligaya, World Wide Walk, the Arena… the list just goes on and on.
President Trump recently banned several news media like the New York Times, the LA times and CNN because they write unfavorable things about him and criticised him. EVM is worse; not only does he call for boycott on TV stations if there’s anything critical to be said, he can even get the police to control the media who has access to the news.
Speak up against EVM? He recently he even got Joy Yuson in prison. The charges? Libel. I didn’t even know you could be arrested for libel. Even international organisations are opposed to such actions:
“International bodies such as the UN and the OSCE have recognised the threat posed by criminal defamation laws and have recommended that they should be abolished. For example, the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly has called for the abolition of all laws that provide criminal penalties for the defamation of public figures or which penalise defamation of the state or state organs. And in the last few hours of writing this, EVM’s own siblings and their family members, including the women and children were arrested by the police. The charge? Indiscriminate firing. As in… random shooting into the air or what? All of them?? So did the women and children have guns blazing and firing in all directions?!? Did it scare poor little (ok, not so little) EVM in his mansion? Imagine how many should be arrested on New Year’s Eve. You want to talk about justice? They are not even allowed to see their lawyer.
And who were the news outlets able to cover these? Certainly NOT ABS-CBN nor Rappler. They are brave enough to speak up about EVM and his antics.. That’s why they are banned.
If you don’t understand, the underlined part says “the media are not allowed to enter except those with the blessing of the Church of Christ”.
You know what all these are called? Abuse of power.
I don’t really have much to day about these events. They speak for themselves. This is the kind of Administration that is running the Church right now. If you think Mr. Trump is not a good leader, you be the judge. As for the Administrator of the Church of Christ? May God judge him and his cohorts.
Our hearts bleed for this family. Pray hard brothers and sisters. Pray not only for the Manalo siblings’ safety, but for our souls. Keep your eyes open. The wolves are sitting on the throne.

I am seething with anger upon learning about this. Whenever I read news about this, I kept on thinking about the offerings, lagaks, THs of the brethren. They can’t still see that this is where the offerings go.
EVM is forcing them to offer. The minions will be “Opo” or “Yes” without asking “Why?” Oh, when I say “Why,” please don’t say “this is the will of God” or “God will be happy” because we know that you are just using His name for your crimes.
And you know what’s the saddest part? Is that the brethren just chose to turn a blind eye to this situation.

It’s time for the brethren who are tired of what’s going on to take a stand. This is all misuse of power and anyone with half a brain knows it. So sad that OWEs don’t use their brains. And isn’t it funny that it’s all happening right before Holy Supper??? Come on, there’s an overall plan going on here. Maybe, just maybe they are trying to test who truly are with them or against them from these action. Get upset about what’s going on, don’t go to Holy Supper, then get expelled for not doing so.
