This is not an attack on the Executive Minister. More like questions about the incident in Fremont. Is he not the leader of the Church? The one appointed to shepherd the flock? For the sake of argument let us say these “Defenders” are dangerous, then why leave the sheep in danger?
‘Therefore, you shepherds, hear the word of the Lord: As surely as I live, declares the Sovereign Lord, because my flock lacks a shepherd and so has been plundered and has become food for all the wild animals, and because my shepherds did not search for my flock but cared for themselves rather than for my flock, therefore, you shepherds, hear the word of the Lord
God does not want His flock to be left for wild animals. Why take off? Should he not be the one to defend the sheep from danger? The Bible says:
“Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel; prophesy and say to them: ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Woe to you shepherds of Israel who only take care of yourselves! Should not shepherds take care of the flock?
I’m sure brethren will say I am attacking. I am just reading verses and trying to find reason in all this. So let’s take the opposite end. Let us say there was no danger. I mean, after all, does she look dangerous to you?
Besides, there were snipers available. (Why else would he be on the roof in fatigues? Bird watching?)
Ok, I thought of an argument. God was referring to spiritual danger, not physical danger. False teachers who may scatter the sheep. So why the dude on the roof?
But let us say, there was no danger. After all, there was no violence – (except for some emotional brethren who destroyed some Defenders’ signs and equipment). Why not talk to these “lost souls” if there is a chance they might still be saved? After all, isn’t that what God wants?
This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.
Have we given up with these people? Are they all definitely judged and condemned already?
My other question is, why is it Ministers and brethren keep saying let us “Defend the Administrator”?
Is it the sheep who defends the Shepherd? Or the Shepherd defends the sheep?
That’s all I have to say. I have no conclusions. I am at a loss.
